I just witnessed a riveting interview on TV with author Patrick K.
O'Donnell, http://www.thedropzone.org/, who was uniformed and embedded with
the Marines in the invasion of Fallujah, the Gettysburg of the Civil War,
the Hue of Vietnam. 

 

He was interviewed about his latest book, We Were One,
http://www.wewereone.com, written not as a journalist, but as a military
historian.
